The iPhone!
It seems as though the whole world knows about the iPhone. Today, July
8 - nine days after the iPhone went on sale - 22,605 articles appeared
about it according to Blackfriars Marketing who has a daily “Buzz
Index” of the volume of articles on the iPhone.
Over the first five days it was on sale, AT&T allegedly activated one
million iPhones. No one knows for sure how many iPhones have been sold
to date as Apple & AT&T have not released any official figures - but
from all signs it’s a lot!
The iPhone will change forever the mobile phone world. Even if you
never own one, you’ll feel the effects of the changes it will make in
the mobile market. At tomorrow night’s Greenville MUG meeting learn
more about the iPhone and why it is so revolutionary as well as see a
demonstration by GMUG member Patrick Greer of his iPhone.
