The new iMacs and upgraded minis are certainly nice, but it was iLIfe and iWork that really impressed me. Numbers appears to be everything I had hoped for. I use spreadsheets to create business forms, and not necessarily crunch numbers.

Yes, I feel the same way. This may sound weird but Numbers actually looks fun in much the same way I want to use the iPhone instead of it being something I just have to use. As soon as I get this I will be dumping NeoOffice and never have to even consider Microsoft Office. In my line of work I don’t need a lot of the more “advanced” or big business features of Excel or Word. I’ve actually been waiting on a highly usable spreadsheet for a long time.

BTW, Sneaky how the made the upgraded .Mac work with the iPhone.

I have been using the new iWork ‘08 for a couple of days now - Numbers is really cool. Only Apple can take a mundane task (spreadsheets) and make it enjoyable and fun!!! The new stuff in Keynote & Pages really rocks too!!! Also; I’ve just finished downloading & installing the new iLife ‘08 and I just have one word to say: WOW!!!!!! It is the biggest and best update to the iLife suite since it’s inception. Can’t wait to demo this stuff to my clients!!!!!
