Next Monday, June 9 (GMUG meeting day), Apple’s World Wide Developers
Conference (WWDC) starts with a keynote by Steve Jobs. Back in March
Jobs said that the focus at WWDC would be on the iPhone. Bobby
Morrison, Apple Solutions Consultant over the Apple Store at Best Buy
(which opened May 30), will be with us to elaborate on the good news
that the keynote will bring. Join us to learn more about iMovie and
the exiciting news from Apple.

The Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce
will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony & there will be local news coverage.

Greenville Chamber of Commerce will be present for the ribbon cutting and an Apple Representative will be on hand to answer questions and assist with purchases.

I want to challenge everyone to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony @ 10am on Friday - we need to have a big turnout to show our support for Apple in the Upstate!!! There will be news coverage…. see you guys at the grand opening!!!

Ever had your computer crash and not have a back up?  The majority of
computer users do not back up their computer at all. If you are in
this boat, learn about the options for back ups that are now
available, starting with Time Machine, the built in back up system in
OS X Leopard.  Dave Kline will show us how to work with Time Machine
and how helpful it is – at times a real life saver.
